I have back problems and, as of late, been looking for ways to help alleviate my issues. Went to the doctor and physical therapists to see what could be done and they both suggested for me to change my crappy bed mattress. I started looking at adjustable beds and eventually try the Craftmatic brands of beds. Let me say, it’s not a horrible bed from a quality standpoint but I’m not going to be buying one and here’s why.
The Craftmatic adjustable beds are kind of no thrill affairs. They’re nothing special to look at, and the bed makes a bit of noise. It seems that being as old as a brand as it is, Craftmatic hasn’t kept up on the trends of other adjustable beds. The mattress is soft and the bed is very adjustable just as the sales representatives say. The biggest problem I have with them is Craftmatic’s customer service. In fact, there isn’t much service there which can be frustrating for a consumer.
Another thing that is a red flag for me is the price. Craftmatic prices are crazy. Buying one will require you to have to spend at least $4,000 on a single bed. This is twice as much as other adjustable beds such as Tempur-Pedic and Sleep Comfort, not a great fact for Craftmatic which appears to be a lesser product. With that in mind, if you’re like me, the Craftmatic is something that can be passed on. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my adjustable bed needs.
